Help! PSU won't start :(

Borrowing my dad's computer which is higher spec so just to get a taste of PSU, i "purchased" it.

It all installed fine, but when i click the desktop shortcut, i get the Splash Screen, but if i click Story mode, Network Mode or Credits, The Splash Screen just closes and nothing happens...

Anyone else had this?! :S

Try installing/upgrade directx.

I had a similar problem.
I installed PSU to an external harddrive, which worked fine at my college computers and mildly well on my low spec laptop, but when I try to play it at my parents house, I get the splash screen that goes no where. It's either a software or hardware delima of the pc (in my case, my dad didn't have a DVD drive, so its either that or the directx). In anycase, re-install direct x and see if that makes a difference.

But did you run the DirectX upgrade through the PSU installer? 9.0c has had numerous updates over the last few years.

went to the PSU directory and deleted the Gguardfolder.... Then, Gameguard downloadd the updates and voila, it all works!!!
