Bulclaw drops... do i have to do something special?

i was wondering............. to get the bulclaws rare drop do i kill it before it spawns claws or do i have to wait until after it spawns claws or does it not matter?

You need to kill it before it splits.

are you sure becuase i have only gotten normal drops from after it splits...... but i have never gotten a rare drop, ok i'll try it. thank you

if it splits it's no longer a bulclaw. it's a bulc or what ever. the drop suxors to get but if you want it try and you 'll get it. Best of luck to ya

Not really, you do not have to do anything special either.

I am sure the Bulk and Bulclaw will drop it; the drop rate doesn't change.

I have gotten D-PARTS from a Bulk, after the mother releases her Claws.

Really? I've been hunting bulclaws for awhilel ooking for some damn D parts. I'll have to try it out to see if the item drops from the bulk; it would make the kasumi bracer hunt A LOT easier with my oran.

you should try to kill it before it turns into a bulk just to be safe

I'm almost positive that you must kill it when it is combined and not split. If it splits just exit the room for a minute and it will re-combine. I can test it later today with the always drop rare code to see if it makes a difference.

No, you haven't. Bulk and Death Gunners are not meant to drop ANY rares (unless you count Photon Drops).

The only way for a 'Bulk' to drop a rare is to wait until it recombines into a Bulclaw. Only as a Bulclaw will it drop rares.

Tested it with an Oran's drop in VH. I fulfilled the drop rate two times over and never got one out of a bulk, did it with the bulclaw and got the rare. I figured it didn't drop but i was't sure, had to test it before i could say it didn't work.

Oh yes, I found out that split Bulclaws' claws disappear when the Bulk regains its Claws.

That is what happened; I now know that Bulks do nOT drop any rares. Thank you for the clarification.
