Pokemon Trade Thread

Well it occurred to me that we have a general pokemon thread but what about those pokemon that you haven't encountered yet but still want? So why not make a trading thread!?

I figured this would also help people trying to trade evolve their pokemon!

Well anyway I'm still not too far into the game yet and I haven't played any of them since gold/silver. Right now I really want a female Vulpix or Ninetales. I would catch it myself but I don't have leafgreen http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

now im debating an arcanine, the problem is that my team currently doesnt have a fire type... not even one fire move v.v

Arcanine is a bit stronger, but ninetales is faster, and imo, cooler. ;]

Well, you see flareon isn't good either, it's main stat is attack, and it can't even learn flare blitz so you pretty much have to use the weak fire fang, or just rely on you sp atk with flamethrower or fire blast. To answer your question, Arcanine's base stats are mediocre, and ninetales' are worse. Also, an arcanine needs to be bred properly to have good attacks.

Shadow definitely hit the nail on the head.

Traditionally, Fire-types have been some of the weakest in the game. If they don't outright possess a crappy Special Attack and Attack stats, then they have defensive stats so horrid a single-hit will take them out of commision. I'm not sure about the new Magmar post-evolution though. For all I know, it could actually be pretty sweet.

Anyone around here have a Shellder they'd be willing to trade (For anything other than a "Palkia" or "Dialga")?

Yeah, if I haven't already said it, I don't really hold stats in the highest regard, I only like to use the ones I like, if they look good, have decent stats and a reasonable moveset, I'm happy, also, I don't like using pokemon that don't evolve, legendaries, or starters. :/

Also, it's always great fun to kick the league's ass with a fearow or a beedrill, amirite? ;]

i dont even know how to get them yet, heh, oh but it might take some time for me to breed the misdreavus, would you like it male, female or unhatched for speed?

ah as for the vulpix they are almost all level 1 and as for females I have TONS! and TONS of males too lol

Some have different moves though, would you like one with ember or will o wisp and a variety of other attcks? also any particular nature?
