TP trick... RAGE...

Don't you just love it when you spend 2 hours telepiping a room in Addicting Food for a Mil Lily, then kill it, then excitedly run up to grab your shiny new rare, only to find that it's actually a box of 2240 Meseta? x_x

Seriously, though, you've just experienced what likely everyone who's tried the TP trick has gone thru at some point. I know I have (at least five times now).

I've come to the conclusion that the TP trick is more a waste of time than anything else. Sure, you've got a good chance of getting something good. But consider how much experience and how many chances for other items you're missing by sitting there in the same room for two hours not killing anything.

Ironically, I still find myself wasting my time doing the TP trick from time to time. Usually when I get frustrated from not finding something useful. And my last attempt payed off with a Demolition Comet that tekked to 20/0/35/15/0. Not exactly spectacular stats, but considering how useful this item is and that it covers three critter types, I don't regret the time it took to get it. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I seem to always get 2 rare monsters. I killed 2 Nar Lillys but only 1 dropped the rare. I killed 2 Al Rappys and only 1 dropped a rare. At least i got 1 rare =.

what really sucks is when your lvl 7 in normal and you find an al rappy but you only do like 1 or 2 damage cause of its high defense, and then it runs away because you took to long

The TP trick doesn't work at all when you hunt for Love Rappies. I think I sat there for about 2 1/2 hours trying to get the el rappy to turn into a love rappy in temple VR. The only success by accident when I found a mil which I got a cure/poision out of. Don't bother with the TP trick, you have a better chance of finding one if you just play through the level. Just be sure you're at a point that you aren't struggling to survive it.

At least now in Ep 1&2 when ya kill a rare enemie you at least have a chance of it dropping something cool. In ver2 dc everytime I saw a rare enemie(which wasn't very often)and I killed it IT NEVER DROPPED ANYYHING! I killed a Hildetorr in Ultimate mode and it dropped like 5000 meseta.Woohoo...http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_bash.gif
