Need help with making sig

[Nitro Vordex]

I want to translate my nickname into Japanese, but I want it in a banner type style, or just need it translated into Romanji style, and then into Katakana.

I only have MSPaint, which I don't think will get me far, so I nee a good program like it that isn't too big(Dial-Up sucks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif).

Edit: Also, I plan on finding some way that I can learn to speak Japanese, although I'm pretty darn sure it isn't easy as that http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif. I really want to learn so some side help with that would be great too.

hmm... I'd recommend Paint Shop Pro... they have a 1 month trial version I don't think its over large at least last time I checked it wasn't

The Paint Shop Pro requires an account unfortunatley, and I don't like giving info over the internets. Got any other programs?

Photoshop 7.0 is all i use :3
