When two topics are replied to within the same minute, the most recent of the two is listed second?

I know it's not a big deal, but it still kinda' bothers me. :/

Whenever a reply is made, a "last reply" field is updated in the database. If two posts are made at the same time, it is debateable as to which one will be processed last. Depending on what is happening, updating the database may take longer for one person.

I've noticed that when I post in some where the symbol for if there is a new post changes to (i'll just say 'yes' or in other words 'there is a new post here) and I doubt it's fixable (easily) but it makes it rather hard to pick out quickly where an actual new post is (aside from looking at who posted last) because I rarely go with that option.
