Family guy. Everyone else seems to hate it. Hell, im sure at least 1 peron will try and prove to me why it sucks.
OR they will say its a terrible show.

I watched and still love the deeply stupid Sonic cartoon where Sonic was voiced by Urkel and Tails had a skateboard. And at the end of every episode, they would do "Sonic Sez" where he and Tails would rattle off some creepy life lesson like, "If someone touches you in a place that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell an adult!"

Also... mmm... well, I watch American Idol every now and then. I know it only qualifies as unpopular in the high-brow elitist circles, but many of those circles don't watch TV anyway. So who knows--a borderline case of popular/unpopular?

Oh yeah, also Thundercats. I totally love Thundercats. Everything about it, from the campy acting to the obtuse storylines and flat-out stupid characters, is awesome. I would own more of it on DVD if it weren't so darn expensive.

M*A*S*H (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08KvuLRKfoI) and Sanford & Son (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFMKQx_PDBM)

Sure, they were popular at one time - but now, meh, you never really hear about them.

As I kid, I loved Pirates of Dark Water (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pUCSsAo638), Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCiSnbrx9xA), and ExoSquad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoFbzrYjIu0). I think they were all pretty unpopular.

Also, anime is always pretty unpopular so I get a few weird stares when I ocassionally watch shit like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1yRM-MSytc) or this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnDt4fhmxnc).

I used to watch that show a lot. I was very young, so I didn't know of too many better shows.

"Threshold" great series, CBS handled it terribly barely advertised it, and the jerks in-charged cancelled it. I don't know why USA, or Sci-Fi never picked it up.

I thought it was a danm good series with a great premise and had the beginnings of good story-arc.

Family Guy still pulls in a lot of viewers every week, but quite frankly it's not the show it used to be.

And in all honesty, I'd argue that South Park (at least in the past four seasons) is a far better show due to its social commentaries and wit...wit that doesn't rely on reference humor.

I'm not saying Family Guy is a bad show. It used to be my favorite. I quoted it to hell every day, but once the new episodes came on I think it just headed downhill. A typical Family Guy "episode" consists of about 10-12 random references. Yeah, they're funny sometimes, but the formula is old.

I barely watch TV anymore, because it just went downhill after 2000. But if anything, National Geographic would be a good answer to this I guess.

Gargoyles, Farscape and Exo-Squad come to mind. All canceled when the shows were in thier prime. Gargoyles lost it when Disney tried to force it to be a Sat. morning cartoon. Farscape was amazing when Sci-Fi pulled the plug, and then Exo-Squad was rumored to link itself to Robotech when it was canned. Sadly for Gargoyles and Exo-Squad they were targeting kids as viewers but it found an older audience and the suits that be didn't want it that way. Silly and sad.

they canceled it because the creator wanted to kill off a main character.

I'm pretty sure that was fan drawn Tact. Though the guy who made Invader Zim is also the guy who made the "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" comics.

Yessssssssssssssss, Smallville! XD <3 One of the few things I bother to follow, and gladly at that. It makes DC cool. XD

I absolutely adore Sailor Moon, I'll have to buy it sometime. Regenesis, and yeah, Gargoyles was really freaking awesome, my mom and I used to watch it all the time, and boy do I miss it :<.

Tremors gets my vote. I mean come on it's a show about mutated monsters and a paranoid militia guy. How can you not like it?

Seriously though I really like the characters and the occasional humor that gave the show a unique feel. It was like tuning into a Godzilla movie every week.

Oh and Brisco County Jr. was good too.

Oh and Arrested Development.
