PvP anyone?

Does anyone know if AoI is gonna have PvP?

It'd be cool if they brought it back along with Ragol in AoI like in PSO. I know some of you are saying this isn't PSO!its a totally different game, and I agree, im merely suggesting it...

It would also be cool, if they made it like an arena where others can watch, and bet meseta on who ever they think is gonna win, and in order to prevent two ppl working together to make more money,they would limit fighting each other once a day. Team Battles, and maybe some leaderboards, and have special events where whoever makes it to 1st place gets a special reward.I know alot of you are also probably saying "this isn't WoW" etc. but hey, it would give a whole other reason to do certain things and you guys know that.

Every time I see a PvP topic, it disappears. Quite frankly, PvP is NEVER coming out, and most of us are GLAD. PSOW normally deletes these topics...

yay the soccer field was fun, and PSU is basically killing monsters without dying. and if i were in that situation and u shot me with ur phantom, id just take the dmg heal with a mate, freeze you with boma maga, youd break out before I killed you and you'd heal, and it'd start all over with a different fight. And if there were teams like i suggested, it'd require alot of teamwork. But ok, i see you guys hate PvP. Just let this post die.

Heres the thing tho, i agree with you. That is fun, but PSU is all about variety. About choices. Otherwise, we wouldnt be able to switch jobs. Frankly tho, thats the only variety i've seen worth mentioning heh >.>;

There are six thousand of these topics on other (IE NOT the first) pages of PSU General that would have answered this question. There is not (and damn better never be) PVP in AoI.

Furthermore, most of these are locked, because somehow, they turn into console wars or flame fests. Board PVP FTL.

I think PvP would be fun and guess what, I'm on PS2. IMO PvP isnt meant for everyone to be equal, Its just fun sometimes to be fighting something that isnt a computer. Look at most racing games, don't most cars or characters have different stats? What about fighting games? Yes, characters have different moves and stats. After a while, you know how enemies act in this game and I think it would be fun to have a challenge.

I actually wouldn't mind PvP in PSU since you can avoid most of the attack and if they improve the hit detector then it would make for some interesting matches. PvP can be what the OP suggested like a coliseum or something so people can watch.

PvP can be added if they do it right but for now I can see FT and FG taking control of PvP.

oh, directed at me? um, it is a general forum of what ever you want to talk about, but some topics get over done. rather than start a new topic generally it's a good idea to search a general term to see what ideas have been expressed before starting a new topic about it.
As with issues like this, it can set off emotions and people tend to flame. Rather than flaming the topic it would probably be more productive to allow the newer players to discuss an idea that is new to them rather than trash it, but forums being an open discussion many people feel the need to add their two cents.

In terms of my opinion i think that PSU is an rpg and rather than adapt it to a different play style, it would be more proactive to find a game that is intended for it. Also 2D fighters just pwn which is why I recommended King of Fighters ( <3 mai shiranui). Sorry if it came off as rude, i prefer short posts.

but yes, faster movement and elements make pvp fun, but one thing ruins it, and that is PA's. It would just make it glitchy and weird. The pa's energy can hit things, whereas in pso, only direct magic and attacks hit.

If your a Protranser against anything you can set a trap were they will most likely be and Put freeze or burn on them and run up with a high power wep such as a shotgun, axe, or sear/sword and end it...
