PSU-PS2: Trying to connect to network: Error (No. 037)

(No. 037) Network Connection has failed. Please make sure the network cable is connected correctly.

The cable is connected to the router and the adapter (Original PS2, not slimline), and our internet connection is self is totally fine.

I suspect its a bad ethernet wire, but im not sure.

Urgent, please respond.

Did you run the setup disk?

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what setup disk you mean. T_T

IIRC, there was a PS2 disk that you had to run to setup your connection.

Well the adapter did not come with any disks, and to my knowledge, I set up a connection on PSU itself. All of the information is correct and everything, i have Comcast Broadband internet and we have the wire going striaght to the modem from the adapter. I just cant really gather whats wrong. I mean, the only thing i can possibly think now is that its a bad adapter, but that may not even be it.

Yes we did, we will be trying again, with a brand new ethernet wire too.
