So I hear you can get a blue Rati?

I saw in the guide that apparently there is a way to make Rati's body blue. How true is this and if possible, how?

I think it depends on what colour you select first for a newly created character's clothes. I've noticed some differences between my mags when I do multiplayer runs on my own to get more experience points. I think you have to select blue or something for a newly created Hunter.

Rati experts have come to a conclusion that the blue Rati was nothing more than odd lighting or something like a "bad look" at the Mag.

Sorry, it isn't possible, but feel free to link to the guide and I'll take a look at it. NM found the guide. What Dropslash referred to was an old pic of a Rati that was taken and because of the way the light was hitting the Rati and the angle of the image, the Rati kinda appeared to have a blue body. He meant the Body (the red part of the rati) was blue according to the guide. He didn't mean the blue wings.

I think savitri can be blue. Maybe you should get one of those they are also cool.

Yea I'm gonna test a theory about savitri in that they change according to what I'm wearing at the time of change and not my section ID. Savitri does come in different colors or at least there is a green and blue version.

You can check my color guide for Savitris to see what you will get depending on your baby mag color. Thats every color variation available, it is not possible to get something other than what is in that gallery.

As you can see the ONLY part of the Savitri that can have a different color (based on baby mag color) is the top of its head. You can't change (color-wise) any other part of the mag. Also the mags do NOT change color because of section id. The only thing that determines the coloring of a mag will be the baby mag color resulting from the color of the outfit you chose when your char was first created. Changing outfits will not change the color of the mag.
