Mass Effect looks like it will be the best RPG this year!

ya I'm happy they chose to make the combat system real-time like a hybrid of a 3rd person shooter (although I prefer 1st person but 3rd person works for this type of game).

but anyway ya I really like BioWare's approach to RPGs cause they aren't afraid to try something new instead of recycling the same 'ol rpg traditions.

Plus they are at their best when they create original stories/franchises instead of something like star wars. kotor was great but it doesn't need any sequels. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hopefully the character creation not like Jade Empires, but something like Oblivions or at least like kotors but with more face/hair selection/customization.

Some gamers blabber on about how amazing Heavenly Sword's characters look, but Mass Effect is way more impressive if you ask me:

it reminds me a bit of gears with its over the shoulder view, but mixing that with an rpg is an awesome idea IMO
