You may or may not have seen this guy running around. You may have partied with him. He's my "Off-Main" (in the Off-Broadway sense) character, Raul DiUragano.
And I'm having a hard time picking an outfit that both fits his persona and looks cool. After a lot of angst and switching of clothes, I've come down to about seven different combinations that I like, but still can't decide between. Maybe you guys can help! Or at least Parn will. Possibly. Maybe? At any rate ... here's a little background info on Raul:
Raul DiUragano (Meaning: Wolf of Hurricane ... roughly) a 27-year old Beast from Kubara City on Moatoob, where he originally worked in the black market, selling illicit copies of weapons from GRM, Tenora Works, and Yohmei. (Check out your video phones' glossary, that's where the term Kubara comes from) He's ... slightly unhinged, maybe even with a touch of megalomania and masochism. He enjoys slaughtering SEED more than is entirely healthy, often laughing madly as he leaps right into the thick of a fight. He has little regard for his personal well-being, so long as he can get in there and mix it up--he often comes back from many missions with many injuries. He tends to talk with a disquieting eagerness, using interjections like "Oh me!" and "Oh my!"
His preferred weapons are twin daggers (and he uses all three Photon Art skills available to them), though he's also known for busting out axes for heavy work--typically any weapon with a Skill that involves spinning and rapid, savage movements is a favorite of his. Possibly because of his background in Kubara City as a junk shop dealer, he tends to prefer using Kubara weaponry (Al Dagacs being a favorite).
Alright, now that you have a sense of what this guy is, here's the seven outfits I've been looking at:

Style 1: Blue classica shirt, black seyagya pants, blue classical boots. Looks great with an Ice line shield, has a somewhat armored look. The blue colors combined with the line shield design are evocative of a hurricane ... but the poofy pants are kind of a turnoff ...

Style 2: Gold and red classica shirt, dark red seyagya pants, red classical boots. Same as above, except it looks better with a Fire line shield. Red is my favorite color. This kinda works too, thematically, if you think of it more as a "bloody huricane" given Raul's bloodletting nature ...

Style 3: Red and gold necnec vest, dark red seyagya pants, red classical boots. Not too sure about this one to be honest. The vest itself has a nice design yet it doesn't feel "armored enough" and lacks any kind of "whirling" appearance like the above too.

Style 4: Full red Roar Roars set. No fussing over matching up various parts of an outfit, but the line shield design is for the birds. Literally. ( 'v') That and there's probably others who use a full Roar Roars set, so ...

Style 5: Red Roar Roars top, dark red seyagya pants, red classical boots. Really not sure about this combination, but it doesn't look THAT bad together ... still, two strikes against it include the feather motif and the poofiness of seyagya pants ...

Style 6: Blue classica shirt, blue Nobles bottoms. The two parts work surprisingly well color wise, and retains the hurricane motif, aside from the pants. But at least they're not poofy.

Style 7: Red and gold necnec vest, red and white necnec shorts, red classica boots. Amazingly the shorts come close to touching the boot to give the appearance of a full body outfit. Something about this design screams "Roman Legionarre" to me, possibly due to all the red, white, and gold. Maybe gold and red classica boots would work with this design too ... but alas, no hurricane motif on this.
There you have it. Let me know which of the seven you think looks best given Raul's character, or if you have a different suggestion, post it up!
