How to download quests to my GBA

I read the instructions in the manual, but still cant get it to work. It says to go to the download machine and download the quest. Where is this? I beat the nights quest and want to play the many game, does it dissapear after i turn off the cube, or does it save it? Also it says to download quests to use the download option on the ship screen, i see no option.
