I decided I wanted to play PSO online so I need to buy a broadband adapter, I found one on Ebay but I need to know if a US adapter will work with my PAL gamecube. Thanks for any help.

Its a f*cking adapter lol. Its a whole different thing than a US gamecube or w/e. It would with 100% safety work.

"Normal"???? lol, I have a PAL GC and its perfectly "normal" thank you very much! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif But seriously, not a lot of difference I should imagine. My PAL GC won't play NTSC games w/o a boot disc and I think this applies visa versa. About the BBA... I use a Japanese BBA so it should be absolutely fine.

Any piece of hardware is compatible with any GC no matter where you are. To TC you are safe if you buy it from any region.

Software (aka games) are a difference story.

If you miss out on the bid, you can also purchase a BBA off the Nintendo website.

no use in buying a BBA for PSO anymore since the gamecube servers have been taken down forever.

I already know that and found a private server, thanks for the help everyone.

It turned out that auction didn't ship to the country I'm in so I couldn't get the adapter. I'm not going to buy one from nintendo either since I don't want to spend more than $34.41US on it since thats what I spent when I bought PSO off my friend, but I found another auction so I might buy that one.

Also before I begin playing I heard about something called an FSOD that occurs when you enter the lobies, can someone please tell me what this is. Thanks.

Fsods were only a problem on the Sonic Team servers . . . . the main private server (probably the one you found) has been coded much better than Sega's and is virtually FSOD free.

Use the forms for that server tho - not the forms here as it is against the terms/conditions for use of this website.
