Quest for Glory series and the Phantasy Star series. Tho if I had to choose out of those - Quest for Glory II and Phantasy Star IV were my favorites.

2) PSO/U <- I include them both in one thing cause..well I love them both.

Oh, and if anyone puts Halo 2 on their list, I'll kill them. Halo 2= One of the worst games ever made. Period.

Damn, there's so many games to choose. Guess I'll do a series/singlegame combo here

1) PSO/U... I still love playing PSO, but PSU is tied with it right now.
2) Zelda games (except for Majora's mask... never could get into that game)
3) Tales of Symphonia
4) Metroid Series (SUPER METROID FTW!)
5) Tough to choose, it's a tie between Halo 2 and Gears of War.

4) Kirby 64 (The N64 was a terrible system for me. Every damn horrible game was terrible and seemed to follow the same ass formula, and sucked. See Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo-Kazooie. If it weren't for Majora's Mask [And to a lesser extent Ocarina of Time], Pokemon Stadium[s] and this, I would call it officially failed. But... 5 games doesn't exactly spell success)

DAMMIT!!! I FORGOT SUPER SMASH BROTHERS!!! NO!

And, well I know people enjoy playing Halo 2 but when you can have your reticle over someone's SHOULDER and the bullets will hit their HEAD, I'm pretty sure that game is fucked up. Not to mention you can shoot a rocket launcher in mid-air and not feel any recoil what so ever...

Halo 2 would probably rank in as number 6 on my list.
While I'm no fan of playing against others (I get all tense and the fun aspect of the game diminishes), I find the campaign mode to be amply challenging, a good continuation of the storyline and full of enjoyable themes.

I think I must distinguish between games I have loved and gaming experiences I have loved but are unrepeatable because they rely heavily on circumstances such as time and company. Yeah, basically, I am filled with nostalgia about past games and playing games, but I haven't had nearly so much fun in recent years.

Games I have loved:

1. The Baldur's Gate series still (sadly?) occupies the most coveted space in my gaming reminiscences.
2. Arcanum was also pretty crazy awesome, and it is a goddamn shame that Troika went under. A sequel would be so fabulous, but it wouldn't 'cause it would be developed by fools without vision! Ehem.

Gaming experiences I have loved:
1. Age of Empires II: Age of Kings online
2. Goldeneye multiplayer
3. Super Smash Brothers (hold the Melee) multiplayer
4. PSO online No, PSO, I resent you and hope you die alone, broke, and unloved >:(
