This will probably get moved over to FanWorks, but I'm going to post it here in Classic PS since (a) these are all classic PS stories and the people who visit the Classic PS forum are likely to be the ones interested in reading them and (b) the topic won't vanish to Page 2 in a day and a half.

Hunter Janyn Carlyle is hired to protect a merchant in the village of Morova when he becomes the prime suspect in a series of murders and must team up with a magistrate from Kadary to solve the crimes before the local law pins them on the wrong person. Luckily, perhaps, the magistrate may have expert knowledge of the dark forces at work here than the average investigator, given what church she belongs to...
