PSO Resolution

Hi there.

I was told from a friend in the game that it's possible to play PSO on a better resolution than 640x480.
Is this true? Or can you help me in any way?

what version?
Dreamcast, Gamecube, XBox or PC.

I can tell you that on the Gamecube version you can play in Progressive Scan mode (480p) if your TV supports it and you are using the Component cables. For the PC version (I'll assume PSOBB) you can obviously play in higher resolutions.

No its not Blue Burst and its the PSO PC Version

heh, I've got that version somewhere (haven't messed with it for years though.) I don't think you can up the rez.

thats strange because my friend sais that he is playing in a better resolution

ask him how he did it.

he told me that he has done it with a differrent option.exe

i got new informations =)
he was offline for a few days.
He told me that he got the option.exe from the pso main forum.
i looked it up there and found a post from an admin with an atachment from an option.rar
bit this file isnt on the server anymore
