i know what they are and everything but would it be better to have a 50 hit or like a 50 on dark?? which would do more damage??

Hit % give you better accuracy, thus you can land more hits.
Dark % let you do more damage vs dark enemies.
Now if you have both, you can hit better vs dark foes for more damage.

XX% In Native boosts damage on native type monsters.
XX% In A.Beast boosts damage on A.Beast type monsters.
XX% In Machine boosts damage on Machine type monsters.
XX% In Dark boosts damage on Dark type monsters.
XX% In Hit boosts ATA, 10% in hit equals 10 Xtra ATA and 20% equals 20 Xtra ATA and so on.

The % determinates how much you hurt. For example. If you got 30% in dark and you usually hit 100, the damage would be 130 on a dark monster instead. Hope this cleared some things in your head.
