Ok, I was messing with the Ran-Misaki twin claws I had to buy since I'm offline. Now, I don't know if it's a bug or not, but offline there's no elemental photons on it, yet I have noticed that it randomly causes 'Infect' on an enemy. Odd, huh? Yea i think with some weapons they randomly give status effects

Element doesn't cause status.

Some weapons just have it, like Lacanata silences. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif


Although, I don't think they infect online... can anyone confirm?

An old Yohmei C rank weapon with Ice I had caused sleep. Some of these weapons give status effects anyways.

Doesn't the Jogiri cause poison? I've seen this online. Also, the Harrisen Battle Fans cause Stun and one of the C rank single daggers (Yohmei, i think) causes shock or silence (can't quite remember).

Yes it does...And that's the reason I use it more than my Calibun...But at what lv status, IDK.

Then how do fire weapons cause burning and ice weapons cause freeze? How do thunder weapons cause shock? Care to elaborate on this?

you're thinking guns, where element does determine se... or S-ranks where the element and se are fixed and usually look related.

BTW don't go poisoning stuff plz. it just gets in the way of real damaging se's.

Nafli-Zashi can cause sleep, 4th hit of the basic combo is where i notice it happening.
