Multi Mode on Gamecube Plus Version

Hello,

I just recently started playing the offline MultiMode on my Gamecube Episode 1 & 2 Plus game. I've been playing the game for a long time and just started playing with friends offline. What I was wondering is if everytime you start a game do you have to go through the Forest level and everything everytime? We've beat the Forest and Cave and then stopped playing and when we went to play again with the same characters we could only go to the Forest so we had to do everything all over. Is there anyway for other levels to be unlocked like in the regular game?

you have to clear that area in singleplayer first, then it will be open in multiplayer.

I think the dificulty you can play is based on level like it was online, though.

you have to beat the levels you want to play in single player to play them in multiplayer...but you can beat levels in multiplayer and go on to the next ones but they wont still be beat when you go back and do single player
