Striker of Chao! Help please :)

I have a chao and a branch of pakupaku. My question is simple: How do I put them together?

Please don't refer me to the TTF quest. :/ I've lost my last 2 branches of pakupaku there due to an error message (within the game) as it was transforming. I don't want that to happen again!

Is there anyway to combine my chao and pakupaku without resorting to this quest, or is it just a myth that this alterate method is possible?

Yes you can combine them. Requirements taken from the guides.

At least LV100 Character, LV100 mag, 695 MST

Yep - I'm lvl 109, mag's well over 100 and my mst is over 1000! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Just wondering HOW exactly to put them together though...as in, do I have to speak with Montague to make the weapon? If not, how do I "use" my chao mag on the staff?

I PM'ed this to you about 10 minutes ago, maybe you didn't see it.

Try equipping the Branch of PakuPaku, highlighting the Chao mag, and selecting Use.
