EDIT: I just realised, I said Minish Cap was shitty cause it only had 4 levels, and Majora's Mask is my favourite, but... it also had 4 levels. Regarding the PS3 argument:

All the best features and graphics and "BLU-RAY OMG BUY" won't save you from the horrendous price tag and even more horrendous lack of good games.

The 360 at least has something going for it in the form of Halo 3.

And Wii...we have Brawl. We just have to be patient u.u

As far as your argument over Zelda games...Finally, I thought I was the ONLY one who thought Majora's Mask kicked OoT's ass. (Like you guys, I do still think OoT rocks...just lacks a certain kick that MM had.)

And like you said, there are so many more reasons why Minish Cap sucked ass and Majora's Mask rocks. The biggest is that unlike Minish Cap, MM will make you want to dust of your N64 to play it.

there are a number of problems with the PS3 that make it suck... Almost all of it's great qualities come with a price. For example it's cell processor which is awesome, because noone has worked with this type of programming and because it is so different than the other systems the programmers need to rewrite all the code for a port and also it take more time for them to figure out exactly what needs to be this way and that way which I wouldn't care about except this makes every game that comes out on all systems have to be pushed back or ps3 will get later. Another example is blue-ray...awesome that it's got it and that blue-ray has all that storage space, but it also pushes the price for both the games and the console up and to mention as far as we've been told no long term testing was done so these discs could have a very short life span. Then the HD support, isn't just support it's a requirement which means that if you don't have an HDTV and even if you do in some circumstances, you'll need to buy a new one which adds onto the cost.

As far as Zelda games, your arguement that MC is worse than MM because MM makes you dust off your N64 is just dumb as MC is a gameboy game v.v Overall OoT is better, but MM has some cool inovations.

as far as game sucking over the last 10 years...true, mostly because of SONY and their advertising and breaking into the industry with PSX. Once Sony came on to the scene quality control was turned off and now we have thousands of games that are incredibly crappy. That's not to say there aren't good games that have come out in the last 10 years, just very few in comparison to the SNES/Genesis era which prolly has more hits than any other generation even when some are combined...

I'd have to disagree with you there. The main problem I had with OoT was that it was too linear (that and the Zora king couldn't move any damn slower D:). What made MM so great was that the side quests required you to give about as much time as doing the dungeons. There was a ton of stuff to collect, things differed depending on days, the scene was quite a bit darker (anyone who's ever seen Link put on the Zora mask will agree with me >_>) and you were always on edge because you had 3 days to do stuff. Sure, you could reset time, but that would mean having to go and start that dungeon from the beginning, you had to DO EET NAO. My brother plans to buy an HDTV, and I also thought it was a requirement for anything to look good. Nooope, things look fine on our crappy small 15"ish non-HDTV.

Alright, now quote exactly, and I do mean, exactly, where I said that the reason MC sucked was because it was on the Gameboy. Or... anything even HINTING at that, even remotely. By that logic, A Link to the Past, although not originally being on a Gameboy, is now on one. Does that make it suck? That was so dumb, I don't even know where to go.

Twilight Princess had a bunch of crappy sidequests. Ocarina of Time, sidequests were almost non-existant, and those that were there weren't that interesting. What makes up Majora's Mask is as Rath said, the sidequests really make up the game, despite it's lower dungeon count. And the game just has so much atmosphere; I get chills from that Oath to Order song, and all the giants coming and getting the moon, and failing. The fight with Majora, although easy, is fun, and also very cool. And the interactions with the characters, and how they change within the 3 days. Majora's Mask just has so much personality, and it was just such a stretch from a normal Zelda game.

Also, I love Deku Link. All the Link transformations really just topped of the excellent amazingness of the game. I was proud of myself when I learned how to beat Incarnation and... whatever the second Majora's form was, with Deku Link. Awesome. And the Fierce Diety story bit? Amazing. Let's just ignore the rest of the game's amazing story bits, ther Fierce diety part, where Majora ACTUALLY makes Link, "The bad guy." That was just so awesome.

Minish Cap seemed to just come out as a way to bridge the gap between the release of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. It had 4 levels much like Majora's Mask, but it also had zero personality as far as I'm concerned. Yes, a video game having personality is laughable. 4 dungeons, the map was small as fuck. You know what was a great Gameboy Link? Link's Awakening. Mmm. Great stuff. Although according to my logic that I didn't even say at all, it's a Game Boy game, so it must suck.
