stingy enemies

im curious as to everyone's longest rare drought from rare enemies. For instance, I'm currently on 4; 2 del rappies, 1 pal rappy, and 1 al rappy that have all dropped nothing. or a plasma barrier. and yes, i have made sure to hit the rappies after that start running so it is a legitamite drought. My id is bluefull by the way.

Well, quite on the contrary I have been looking for God/Body to boost my DFP from its 20 from a General/Body to a 50 from God. It took me like 2 hours of piping to get a single Nar Lilly from a group of 9 Poison Lillies. Luckily I made it drop a God/Body... but then to get another it only took me two pipes. Unfortuantely I'd been hunting for a certain Mechgun for my Purplenum RAmarl and piping for Al Rappies. It took me 3+ hours to finally get one and it only dropped a piece of armor (can't remember the exact piece), even with a 7/8 drop rate So don't worry I can sympathsize on trying to find rare enemies and get the rare items they drop.

Are those the ones you were hunting!? If so, combined with the rate of trying to get a rare creature and its item drop rate, I'd say that is probably got to suck...

i wasnt hunting, i found these by chance, and the rare drop rate for those rappies is quite high, or at least nothing like 1/215

I hate when that happens, not getting a rare from a rare enemy. I usually turn the game off if that happens as it kills the I'm-gonna-get-me-a-rare-today mood. I think the most for me is 2-3. I have been lucky though, like finding 2 Hildertorrs within 5 minutes of each other on a single Forest of Sorrow run, and both dropping Frozen Shooters http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif But usually, it's a Diska, or a crap armour if I find my first rare creature of the day http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Gibbles has always been a real stingy guy for me. A 1/46 drop rate for the umbrella... Took forever just to get the damn thing.

Dont worry, you will eventually find the drop. I was looking for Demolition Comet with my Redria RAcast. I killed like 7 Mil lillys (I piped them during a week or so. One a day or something.) and I didnt get any Demo Comet. I have found one by now but that was when me and my sister piped together in cave 2 with the 5 flowers at the beginning. (One pipe and the mil lily showed up closest place to the door we were standing) Boom, a Demo Comet. me and my friend both found one, had that drop rate, and we both got the same thing, knight power.

I killed like 8 or something love rappies and didnt get a Heart of Poumn, then my friend killed a few more and finally got one for me and one for himself -.-. Altavista, how's the Demo Comet http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif it's a sweet weapon huh. I got hella lucky and got one on my skyly that tekked out to 55% hit http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif. My last hunt was for a Lavis Cannon on my Redria with 10 Pouilly Slimes killed so far and no Lavis, but that's not as bad as killing 8 of a monster for a 12 drop rate -.-

Took me about 50 something Pal Rappies to get my Real Agito with a 1/21 drop.

i've been hunting a lavis (off and on) for a while now, up to 43 red slimes, no lavis. or my psycho wand hunt (79 mil lilies, no pw). or when i did purplenum tower runs for 2 straight weeks (when i played pso, i did nothing but purplenum tower runs), and not even a pd from stingy gibbles. on the other hand, it only took me 2 pal rappies to find my angel harp, so luck can go either way.

I find it funny how most people on this site count the number of certain enemies for certain rares http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I don't really bother counting, I just kill and hope I get a rare. Speaking of stingy enemies, that bloody Pinkal Pal Rappy still hasn't given me a real agito, but that's 'cause I gave up after about 9 of them giving me crap. And once, even the game was stingy to me, as it wouldn't let me save after finding my first Demo Comet and another Red Sword on the same run of Addicting Food, even though I was using the original memory card for that character. Had to turn off and pipe another Red Slime for the Demo Comet http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif To this day I don't understand why it happened, 'cause that's the first and only time it happened.

P.S To add insult to injury, I also accidentally spilt my coffee when the game wouldn't let me save. Funny how little details like that stick in your head.
