Japan was making game to at the time. I just used the USSR Tetris reference because it's well known.

Alright, you got me there.
But remember, even after the A-bomb, they still ended up becoming an economic power. So saying that if America bombed Japan as a response to Pearl Harbor, all Japan-based games will be null and void in the future would be extremely wrong.

The end-result is this: I still beat Talon. I just happened to learn that video games, no matter how unknown they were, were still being produced that time in the process.
