My friend just hit 100 and he has a magic rock moola. He looked on the site and it told him to use a cane. Didn't work. Does the cane have to be fully grinded? If so, how far can a cane be grinded to???

Yes it must be fully fully grinded. I think it can go to +99.

Not +99... Probably +75 at the most, since that's the saber & handgun limit.

You could get a number of levels... the max grind goes down as you get better weapons. I know for Clubs the max grind is +9 or +10...

For some reason, the site doesn't make any mention of the max grind of the normal weapons .. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_hamster.gif

Try this site. They have the max grinds under the weapons.

I would advise not turning a cane into a Summit Moon unless it has some Photon percentages on it. This is one of the few opporunities a player can somewhat determine the Photon percentage of a rare weapon.

Summit Moon will inherit the Photon percentages of the original weapon.

It's also a FOrce weapon...

% isn't important, only the tech/MST boosts are.

I made one . canes take about 50 or so grinders. GOOD THING MY SEC ID finds grinder like crazy.. was getting worried around 40 or so. The SUM needs no PB% just equip it and gain the 50+ damg bonus to your techs. It makes your MST go up by 55.

A few things though...
WHY did the original stats show a +500 or something to your ATP? did they change the Moons or something. and it adds lightning but upon a hit not from range..

Those were the original DC stats.

For a Battle Force, I would want the %.
In any case, since the player can control the % on this weapon, I see no reason not to optimize the weapon.
