As long as his knees don't break with all that top-heavy weight, he could go another two, maybe three years. Possibly more if somebody used him as one hell of an expensive pinch hitter.

The whole fuckin era of baseball from the 70's to now is riddled with cheaters. I'm not sure you can crucify Barry alone, but he seems like a pretty easy scapegoat since he's got one distasteful personality. Bonds has had to find a way to put bat on ball, something that even steroids can't magically do for you, and for that he can commended.

But.

I still think it's a pity that Hank's record was broken by a cheating hack who "accidentally" and "unknowingly" took steroids.

People don't seem to realize that steroids may buff someone up but they can't help that someone hit the ball.

He almost has 3000 hits, that's pretty good in itself.

I'm not leaning on either side of the steroid argument, though.
