i have a 360 and i would like to select a payment option and theres only 1 for credit card do i select that and it uses my debit card?

I don't have a 360 but you can use debit card on 360.

As for an Xbox Live Account:
You can adjust your payment settings to recur monthly or not in your account settings. You can also buy a new 3 month subscription (or month or year) and it will stack up on your current paid time.

When your card expires you will just go silver and have to add a new 'payment option' or enter a code from a prepaid card.
