If I had around 176 million to spare and the time to wait for such occasions, I would buy 175,711,536 unique tickets for the California Mega Millions lottery whenever the prize swells to something ridiculous around the 300 million mark (it has reached 310 before). The odds of winning are 1 in 175,711,536, so... duh. Federal tax is 25%, so I'd make a good 50 million in profit. Rinse and repeat a few times until dead.

A new Computer.
All the anime I want.
A PS3.
A Saab for my Mom.

I would also like to set up trust funds for all my nephews.

If I had enough cash to put into bonds and CD's that I could continually rotate every 1 to 5 years (depending) and live off the interest - I'd be happy. Nothing too extravagant... maybe 40-60k a year would be fine by me. That way I could just work part-time whenever I felt like it to keep myself busy - without having to be tied to a job I hate just to get by.

If I was to ever hit a jackpot, I'd probably give most it to charity, the church, and my family. With the caveat that I can fully audit how the money is being spent so that I can make sure it'll go to what I intend it to go to. So I'd likely have to set up a series of trust funds or something. I'd only keep maybe 5 - 10% of it for myself.

If I had the time and money to do anything I wanted I'd build a gigantic complex that provided many things that are essential to normal living where it'd be free to live as long as you'd contribute to the complex in some way such as gardening and helping to provide a stable supply of food, cooking, even programming applications. Then I'd build several dozen of these and build an electrical cart transport between them somewhat like how roller coasters are, but not as a ride >.>

Unfortunately I don't have the money or time for that prolly ever in my life so instead i wish to do nothing more than to do whatever i can to make a better world and hope that it's not in vain.

I would do terrible, wonderful things.

I'd purchase a hundred acres of land and surround the perimeter with an electric fence. Then I'd pay hobos to let me hunt them like dogs, chasing them down with my friends in a Humvee. We'd blast them with 12-gauge stun rounds, tag 'em and bag 'em, and then strap them to the hood. You'd be surprise what the hungry will agree to when you flash hundred dollar bills in their face.

I'd buy old, used cars and wreck them at the end of every week.

I'd ride a chariot around my estate pulled by women.

When the newest game systems come out, I'd buy them all out from local stores and have them tossed into a threshing machine before screaming, crying legions of fanboys.

With all the money and time at my disposal I would close down the orphanage and open a gambling casino. Plow over the park and drill for oil. Open up a strip bar in the middle of down town.

And that's just for starters. Ah, to dream.
