Its an internet standard for time. Developed by Swatch (am i right?) Basically it allows people to coordinate across the globe without worrying about those stupid time zones. When its 943 beats in NY, its 943 beats in Osaka...

Meech please change your title as its mis-leading.

And a beat is a uniform set of time. A beat is comprised of turning a day into 1000 units.

it should tell you what beat it is at a particular time next to the bar. The green bar, itself, grows as a beat runs its course. Finally disapearing and starting again with the next beat. That's the way it seems to me at least. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Does that make sense?

Don't use beats for measuring mag feeding time. If I recall, the cycle for feeding is roughly a level 15 shifta... or 3 minutes. Roughly. o_O

i knew the beat system was a time mesurment, and there was a 1000 in a day, but this really pisses me off as ive been trying to develop a system of metric time and it looks like those bastards have beaten me to it. well remember this day at 80 past 2 on dec. the 47 ill patent my system and make sega give me credit for coming up with the system!
