challenge mode - is it worth it?

me and my friend are thinking about completeing challenge mode to get one of the weapons, but are they actually worth getting? And if so, what weapon would you reccommend for a FOmar?

I think whether or not Challenge Mode is worth it, really comes down to whether or not it helps you to enjoy the game. Maybe there's something you really want to get out of it, or maybe there's not. What it's really about is the teamwork and accomplishing something. The prize you get is a trophy for a job well done.

I've never actually played through the whole challenge mode. What would you get exactly from playing offline challenge?

For Offline C-Mode, you can play EPI 1 C-Mode if you have PSO regular, and if you have PSO PLUS, you can play EPI 1 & 2 Offline C-Mode (which was available Online on PSO back then).

The C-Mode areas are very long and difficult, lot of puzzles and switches to be turned.

The rewards for the EPI 1 Offline Challenge mode are here (http://pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=331), and the prizes for the EPI 2 Offlien C-Mode (if you own PSO PLUS), are here (http://pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=2131). I believe that the Offline EPI 2 C-Mode obtains Rings, ie BLUE RING and YELLOW RING.
