PSO Blue Burst- Worth it?

I quit WoW a while back, and I was wondering if Blue Burst was worth it. I used to have Episodes 1 and 2 on the Gamecube, and I loved playing the single player. I tried Universe, it didn't interest me very much. So, here are some questions-

1) Is it worth the $9/month (with the community, etc etc.)

2) How are the private servers? (because I know there are some.)

3) What's the control setup? Keyboard only or what?

Hopefully I can get playing this game again, because it was one of my favorites on the GCN.

1) Nobody plays the official ST servers anymore

2) Don't ask about free servers here, its against forum rules

3) You can use KB or (as I do) a joypad

I would give it a go tho. I play and I enjoy it very much. Ep4 brings something new to the game.

I played it briefly, when I had access to a computer that could run it. It wasn't bad. I sincerely recommend getting a USB controller or something rather than a keyboard. For me, it wasn't an easy transition from PSOX >_> But I liked the added content and missions. 2) With no how-to or promotion-of, there are approx 300 active players

3) Keyboard, customizable

I prefer all of my GC characters to starting fresh on BB
