Hello there. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I got the following problem: I usually play on PC, but starting today I'll visit home and wanted to play there using my PS 2, so I got the PS 2 version of the game. But when I tried connecting just now I got as far as the DNAS authentication screen, and then it said something about error 402, telling me something about a PS 2 disc information error.

Has anyone else ever had this problem, and do you know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any scratches on the disc? Try seeing if your PS2 is still in working condition.

The disc is brand new. It was factory sealed when i got it. And the PS 2 works just fine, so I doubt its got something to do with that either.

It probably wasn't your PS2 or CD, but maybe your connection. Can you also describe your type of connection for your PS2?

Edit:

Well... It may be your hardrive of your PS2:

-402 sceDNAS2_SS_INVALID_MEDIA
Invalid disc. "DNAS Error (-402) A PS2 disc information error has occurred."

Try playing other games and see if you can connect with those or other stuff.

Edit2:

Resolutions:
-402 or –403:
Most likely mod chip related. Try disabling the chip.
