graphic slowdown help

I have a radeon 9550 and 2 gb of ram on my 2.20ghz gateway computer; I should be able to run it smoothly with the min requirement which i have been until some of the recent updates is there any tweak to run the game more smoothly and I already have the graphic settings at it lowest and the funny thing is I can run other games fine expect for PSU even on lowest setting any help?

Try playing the game without the the post effects while on full screen mode.

Can you list other information of your computer?

Proccessor, etc. (run dxdiag)

Is your computer running on a lot of heat when playing? Maybe it needs to be cooled down.

Also try playing with less programs next to PSU.

only the necessary programs are on and maybe firefox but other than that nothing is really running and also it is near my a/c so over isn't the problem.

Hmmm, a probable need for defragmenting your computer and such?

Here's a few options:
* Run up-to-date anti-virus
* Run up-to-date anti-spyware (preferably two or more)
* Empty “temp” files
* Empty Recycle Bin
* Update drivers
* Run chkdsk and disk defragmenter
* Back up your system
