That looks cool, but i'd rather, that Capcom make a new game, then recycling the same games, over, and over again. Street fighter 4? Where are you?

Were they only chibi in turbo then? I liked that game.

Capcom will still be making editions of Street Fighter II long after we're all dead. The closest we'll get to a Street Figthter IV is "Super Street Fighter II++++ Turbo."

Oh, and Puzzle Fighter is one of the best puzzle games ever, by the way.

What puzzles me, though, is that I can't seem to find Master Arcade Mode in this one... I really hope they didn't take it out, but that looks to be the case. :/

Also...

That's a little misleading.

You're implying that these sprites are from Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix... These sprites are from Street Fighter II and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

I do find it a bit ironic, though, that the Street Fighter one got revamped everything, but Puzzle Fighter gets revamed everything except character sprites. :/

You're forgetting how long they took to make SF 3.

I don't think the team from that game is still all around in their development studio anymore if I remember that right from some online reading bits here and there.

Crap, SF 3 was the best of the series. No wonder there hasn't been a new SF lately.

I wonder what it took for the lazy-ass Capcom slobs to get off their fat big-mac munching asses and do some fresh new sprites after 20 years of rehashing the same old crap!

Bonus: Capcom isn't doing the new sprites. UDON Comics is.

read carefully. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

this topic is about Puzzle Fighter, but I also mentioned Super Turbo HD Remix (the fighting game) since it's somewhat related.

Super SFII Turbo >>>>> SF3 and Alpha series. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

a visual remake of Super Street Fighter II Turbo (they also confirmed they will add a optional balanced mode too) is much much MUCH more valuable than a Street Fighter 4. you just want a SF4 cause of numerical advancements and maybe technical.

but overall while SFIII has a advanced fighting system, it's character selection is the WORST in the whole franchise. even Third Strike didn't save it.

Worst? Care to elaborate on that.

I just beat Expert difficulty X' mode without continuing, and getting an All Clear Bonus on my finishing attack on Akuma.

You don't even know how much I want the HD remake of SFII.

Why is it ironic that the actual game gets an all out makeover while the spin off doesn't ? Seems like common sense.

I guess cause the majority of the time, players are not even looking at the sprites, they are busy staring at gems. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

...But I want to see Dan incessantly taunting people in HD! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Besides: Puzzle Fighter > Street Fighter.

You're dead wrong. It's because Capcom's 2D team is composed of lazy slobs who sleep and eat doritos from 9-5 and get paid for it.

Sekani

Seriously. It would take an act of God to get Capcom to remake their 2D sprites.

Saner

people shouldn't get carried away. fact is, SSFIITurbo HD Remix is getting a complete sprite and artwork redraw. so they aren't lazy in that aspect.

plus for a 10 dollar game, you must consider the value of a game versus the funding and work put into remaking it.

Kent

Let's not forget that it isn't Capcom that's redrawing everything, but rather, a third party that they're contracting to do so.
