PSO-PC: forest gate crashes

Hello, recently I started playing PSO for the pc, everything works fine and smooth but when I enter the forest (offline mode) it sometimes freezes when a gate is opened, it's not always the same gate, sometimes I get close to the last room and sometimes it's the first room, I'm getting tired of rebooting the whole time and saving every 2 rooms to not lose my stats.

790mhz
605ram
directx 9
nvidia card

it runs smoothly besides that glitch/error

You should make a backup copy of your saved data then try a complete reinstallation. It's probably a corrupted file somewhere within your folders.

ok I reinstalled it but I still get the same problem:S first time I did manage to get all the way to boss monster in forest 2 but when I used a telepipe and then returned back to forest two the first or second gate I was walking through made my computer freeze again
