when i get more into the game what weapons will my charecter have acses to?othere than gun,rifle,mach gun and shotgun?

Rangers can use Sabers, Partisans, Fists, and Katanas along with the four weapon types you have already listed.

arn't there also grenade launchers, lazer cannons and bazookas?or are those online only

Laser Cannons and Grenade Launchers are in PSU, not PSO.

However, Photon Launchers (which are sort of like bazookas) are also accessible to Rangers.

Depending on your Section ID, you can find Photon Launchers in either one.

Yes. You can use the Drop Charts (http://www.pso-world.com/item_findings.php) to see what your Section ID can find from just about every monster in the game.

I forgot to mention that Rangers can use Slicers. Shots are better in my opinion, but Slicers are a good "fun" weapon to use.

also whats Vol Opt, where can i find it, is it a boss and how can i kill it on hard(for a launcher)

ok so vol opt is a boss and it has lower hp than the second boss EVEN ON HARD MODE, so how do i kill it on hard?

If you wanna beat vol opt use a mechgun on the first stage. Shoot the thing in the centre down, then when the things pop up out of the ground shoot the one with the red lights, then the ones with the blue lights. When you dstroy all those the second form comes. Use a shot to hit him 5 times and try to avoid his attacks. Hope that helps.
