Do you happen to have AVG? it seems AVG had an update that now flags the gameguard.des file as infected.

If you do, I just reinstalled it and it worked fine, I might make a backup of the GG folder for now, until I can figure something more permanent

I had to do a system restore to get my game working but i wasn't aware of avg messing with gameguard thou. Which may explain why since i do use that.

Yup, I looked at the records of my AVG virus vault, and there it is Gameguard.des lol, not that I'm too surprised it has lol.

Try a gameguard folder delete.

Tried that as well to begin with but it doesn't work either, AVG pretty much ripped GG from PSU

If all else fails.....
Call tech support at Sega. Dont email them because 9/10 of the time they "lose" the email....

And you get to talk to a "real" automated answering system! Fun Fact: Bastard's don't even HAVE people to answer the phone, the voice tells you so.

I did that a few times. You can hear the sheer panic in the background while they spill their coffees when you mention a bit of technical mumbo jumbo.
