It's going down for "approximately 4 hours" on September 10th to "upgrade the service."

Downtime is from 2:01 PDT, 9:01 GMT, and 18:01 GMT+9

There's more info on Xbox.com about the upgrade I assume.

EDIT: Everyone ought to have a message saying this in their Inbox from Xbox Live when they sign into Live. I just figured I'd put it up here anyway.

They said they were working on a patch, but it would take two to three weeks to get it finished, then they'd need to get it certified by Microsoft before they could have it released.
