XBox360: How to cancel the Guardian's License subscription?

i want to cancel my GL within the next few days, but i can't find an option to do so when i click the membership-status on the XBox Live Marketplace, neither there's an option in the game O_o" so.. is there a way?

But...if you cancel doesn't that mean your characters and items are deleted. Wouldn't you just be better off paying the 9.99?

i've known people who left for 4 months and came back still intact..

Charas are only deleted if the space is needed, so I highly suspect virtually none have been deleted, no matter how long they been inactive.

plus im guessing ST figures theres more of a chance that you would pay to play again if you didnt have to start over.

if i get online with AoI and notice my characters are gone, i'll just quit the game after the first month and play more PSO instead ;P

i guess most people would quit PSU after coming back and having lost their chars & weapons, and Sonic Team knows that, but since ST really can't afford losing even more players, they won't delete our chars.. (my theory)

I went back to PC/PS2 servers after more then 9 months inactivity and a canceled account. Still had my one character and her items
