After trying many different set ups, Vampir suggested me to directly hook up the modem's cable into the GCN BBA.
Well... it works ^_^;;; No more FSODs, no more random disconnection.
Suggested settings:
User name
Password
Do not enter any other information and you should be ok. At first I tried to enter also my DNS information but got several FSDOs.
