..TP Materials?

Okay, are TP materials obtainable only in challenge mode? My friend claims to have found one elsewhere, on Episode 1&2, Offline. He bullshitting? I've hit level 147 and still haven't seen one in ALL my PSO time.

It may be possible to get them in Challenge Mode (not as rewards, though). As far as I know, you can only get them online.

As far as I know you can get them online. Through gallons shop or the rappy festival quest.

You cannot get them offline but they are available as drops in challenge mode so i guess that is the only offline option of obtaining them

You can get TP-Material in offline Normal mode.
However I found 3 in over 2000h of playing.
So if you get one aside of your normal doings, well you had much luck, but to hunt for them, is just a wasting of Time.
IIRC i found all three of them in VH Caves.

But that was a time, i had problems with Ult Forrest.

are you sure kojiroAK because i have never heard of anyone obtaining them in offline play that isn't in challenge mode

Rappy Festival Quest, or the Gallon's shop. Those are the only two places besides C-mode. They will never drop in any other place.

I read about them in the guides. You need to obtain lucky coins from the ep2 quest Phantasmal World. I am an offline GC player, but a friend of mine had an online connection and was gracious enough to let me download a bunch of quests including PW and Gallon's Shop. My question to anyone is: can I still obtain these rare materials offline since I have the quests? I would imagine so, considering they show up in c-mode, which tells me that they're programmed on the disk. If anyone can confirm this, that would be great!

Yes, 100 luck is the max for every character.

i believe the max number is 150 materials...not of each one but total...however for hp materials the max is 125 so a total of 275 materials...if i'm wrong somebody correct me because i don't remember

It depends on the character.
Standard = Power + Def + Evade + Mind + Luck

Humans (mar/marl)
250 Standard
125 HP
125 TP

Casts (cast/caseal)
150 Standard
125 HP
No TP (For obvious reasons)

Newmans (newman/newearl)
150 Standard
125 HP
125 TP

So if you use 45 Luck Material on a Cast you can only use 105 of the other Standard Materials.

Or you can take a look in the Characters Section (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?section=Character&op=viewtopsection)

exactly 40 Luck Materials but still this can take its time.

or you can get some units so you dont have to find all of those materials, oh and if you do ttf with one guy charactr and a girl character, theres a way you both can get luck mats.

TP mats are online. First one I obtained was rappy quest.

what quest is TTF, (i probably sound stupid) but i don't do the quests, i only did them in normal, and i just got into ultimate. Anytime i see TTF i think of Dragonforce, Throught the fire and the flame.

TTF, or Towards the Future, is an online Episode 1 quest that takes you though all stages of Episode 1. You fight constant slews of monsters and eventually have to fight Falz.
