depends on the version you play
on gc it is a very unusual wep to play with, not the best of it's kind but still cool

on ver.2 it is one of the most essential hunter weps, basicly it's a reward for hunters that reach ultimate ruins since the wep is 1/46 from a merlan.
it has a decent power and increases ata by 234, the only way to miss an attack is with a humar in ultimate ruins doing hard attack on 1st strike, i beleive i once missed the enemy.
on other zones, hard/hard/hard attacks all the way
