Luck Materials ?

I have found 3 of them and was thinking , what does the Luck stat do ?

This isn't exactly the same as the topic, but does any one know if a certain ID finds Luck Mats more often than others. I know in normal mode, drop rates in ruins sometimes have materials listed. My Greenill finds Evade Mats from Chaos Sorcerors in normal mode Ruins. Just curious is all.

I thought that nearly all Materials have a 1/256 drop rate, but there are set drop rates for IDs that can find Materials from monsters.

If my memory serves me correctly, one of the normal difficulty Love Rappies drops a Luck Material...But...That REALLY isn't worth the effort.
