56k error .008 Help ASAP

Aight here's the thing. I have a friend who is trying to get connected to PSO and is running off a 56k and earthlink. He has all of the information for earthling in his network settings, and has a hunters license. The thing is when he tries to log on he gets an error "008" and gets disconnected. Anyone know about 56k enough to help? I myself know more about BBA so I have tried what I could. Thanks

I have never seen that error before while running through the Sega PSO message boards, you might post/look there

I myself don't know the answer, but look around the Tech Forum, you never know if someone else has had the same problem. =(
