GC: hell mag

i just got a hell laser and grinded it max. it kills anything it hits but it misses about 7/8 times. i am making a new mag now that will have very high dex, maybe like 150-200 just for this weapon. what do you think?

you mean special attack's chance?
i dont think you can improve the hitchance of that by boosting ata... but then again i may be wrong...

Well, your ATA would matter because specials use 50% of your ata score. so if you have high ata you should be able to kill with one hit more often.

Improving your ATA will only increase the gun's accurracy. It won't change the odds of a one hit kill. You can use a special attack and hit an enemy with the bullet (or any weapon with a special attack, for that matter), but the special might still miss (listen for a sound when you strike an enemy).
