PSOBB: Cant TYPE at all (have read all posts i have seen)

Ok, so i have been play PSOBB for a few weeks and everything has gone fine up until recently. I went to type during gameplay, and when i hit the space bar the typing symbol comes up but the game will not respond to anything i want to type. i am running PSOBB on windows xp. PLZ help if possible, all help is appreciated

I remember needing to use IME to be able to type when I first tried the game.

Basically entering into it with alt+tilde or alt+shift a couple times until it changes to a language type.

... So you can try that. Install IME and try activating it ingame.

Umm... I'm actually having the same problem. Dj_SkyEpic (or someone else), can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by using IME and stuff? =D

Having not actually played BB, that's the best I can do. Someone else might be able to give you more input into how to use it in-game.

Are your advanced text services on? if they are, you cant type on bb. to figure out how to change this, go to help from the start menu (on windows, idk about mac, sorry) go to help and support, type in advanced text, then select turn text services off or on.
then from there.. do what it says

Thanks Fallen and Delsabre. ^_^ I've discovered from a friend with Windows Vista (apparently it was the computer type itself that was at fault) a way to fix the error:

Hmm... I don't quite remember you, FallenAngelV. =O Perhaps if you'll log into PSO in that one server, I might -- just might -- start to remember. *nudge* xP
