how do you earn "spinning break" in offline mode?

I want to test a Photon art, and have completed chapters 1-11. I have S ranked some missions, and was sometimes rewarded with a Photon Art.

Is this how I get spinning break, and if so, what mission?

Probably S-rank missions with Leo? He's the only NPC who uses a Sword as far as I know.

already done that. I s ranked a mission with leo and tonnio, and tonnio gave me buten. Does it have to be JUST Leo?

Well I'm gonna guess only one NPC can give you a reward at a time, so... try again?

You have to S rank missions over and over and over and over and over to get the photon arts. I did around 50 S ranks before lou gave me the double saber ones

It's not a 100% chance that he gives it. Run with Leo over and over as suggested already.

correction, this is in story mode...does that make a difference?

EDIT: just tried 3 times in story mode and extra mode. No spinning break. Must I earn it first in story before it becomes available in extra mode?

It doesn't make a difference what mode its in.
Just do the first parum run over and over until he gives it to you.
Like everything in this game it could take 1 run or it could 100.

I haven't gone too far in story mode, but when I do gain enough motivation to play it, I'm going to finish the story and that's that. I just need to know what's going on <_> perhaps Chapter 2 online would make more sense.

I had no idea that it was that difficult to obtain PA's >_>
Now I know that NPC's give certain PA's to you.

3 times? I S-ranked the missions at least 35 times, but I still got nothing from Lou, Leo, and Tonnio. I can't wait to get Tonnio's twin claw PA.
