Crazy anime cut-ins with Character's Face

How in the world do you get this? I see people talking and a pop-up of their character's face will appear with random emotions etc, I can't figure it out.

Hold tab while pressing Enter.

Alternatively, type @## before your message, where the first # is between 0-9 and indicates which emotion you want to portray, and the second # is between 0-3 and indicates the angle of the face.
