I was thinking 1* = 100 people, but most everyone I talk to seems to say, 1* = 200 people, 1 universe = 1,000

Yeah, when I first saw the population I was like O_o

I think that is why they listen to the Japanese players.

Overwhelming numbers, and the fanfair of famitsu.

ICU add 360/ ps2/ pc I think that wold equal 5 full universes.

The above is astounding....I wannaplayon the Jap servers.

If a full star = 200 people, an empty star = 100 people...right?

Ex:
1 full star = 200-299 people
1 full star + 1 empty star = 300-399 people
2 full stars = 400-499 people
2 full stars + 1 empty star = 500-599 people
etc.

I don't think it's that simple. That would give the 360 4,000+ players online at one time, every day at peak.

I think it is more like an empty star is anywhere from 1-100 players and a full star is 101-200 players. Which explains why you can still get into a universe with 5 full stars instead of being locked out.

Thanks for clarifying. Being a PC player, I never get a chance to go to a universe with 5 stars so I wouldn't know that. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

4000 seems right.

That's, kind of wrong. If there is NO star in a universe, and YOU go to that universe, then you have your very own "empty star". You =/= 100 people.

Yeah..that can't be right...I got to party with people in random universes and we don't even get a star...maybe its different for 360, but on ps2/pc thats definately not the case.

It's amazing what happens when you advertise your product. PSU in the Western world has to rely just about entirely on word of mouth.

Since we all spend our time in only Universe 1 anyway, there really is no point for many people.
