Mayalee for the Shotgun does Charm and the one for Laser Cannon does medium range knockback...although I think there is more to it then that.

boy are you wrong. they both do sleep. Mayalee Shot for the Rifle, and Phantasm Prism for the Cannon.

If you have every other rifle at 30, it may not be worth it, then.

For me Mayalee Shot is definitely already worth it.

180% ATP and 90% ATA = best boss killer.

Since I do not have the PA space to learn more rifle bullets, it's perfect.

Also, even if the proper element will deal slightly more damage than Mayalee Shot to a boss, the difference of 15% ATA is noticeable, even as a cast FG, because bosses have high EVP.

Of course, Mayalee Shot owns De Ragnus.

wait, wait...mayalee shot - this is the sleep shot, and sleep is getting improved in AoI, has a large damage modifier? And sleep, unlike electric, works on large enemies, right?

What is the highest elemental damage modifier for rifle?
(I know the accuracy is 75% for elemental bullets)

de ragnus, being a dragon, gets owned by grenades, so I'll have to dissagree with you there.

Grenades do not work when dragons are airborne, that was obviously what I meant ;s

At Lv30, Frozen, Plasma and Rising Shot have
23% element
155% ATP
75% ATA
12(9) PP

At Lv30, Burning, Grav and Dark Shot have
23% element
160% ATP
75% ATA
12(9) PP

At Lv30, Killer Shot has
0% element
140% ATP
75% ATA
48(38) PP

At Lv30, Mayalee Shot has
0% element
180% ATP
90% ATA
18(15) PP

2% more damage for frozen, plasma and rising, and 3% LESS damage for burning, grav, and dark.

6 more pp a shot seems excessive.

Actually, elemental bullets do more damage in both cases, since the elemental bonus is added separately.

Weak elements deal 191% damage to monsters of the opposite elements.
Strong elements deal 197% damage to monsters of the opposite elements.

Mayalee Shot deals 180%, but the 15% bonus in ATA lowers the gap in DPS noticeably.

The PP cost is truly no issue, I have yet to empty two phantoms with Mayalee Shot, and I mean soloing long missions.
I barely use rifles outside bosses, though, so it's even less of an issue, because no boss lives long enough for me to empty the rifles.

But like I said, one of the main asset of this PA is that it does more or less the same job as other rifles on bosses, but only fills one PA slot (multi-classing, here, hard to learn PAs).

Fair enough. I also don't relish the thought of leveling electric bullets which can't affect anything i would want them too. At least sleep, though sucky, affects large enemies.

have you tries putting any large enemies to sleep? What are your results?

Not tried yet (I am leveling the new melee PAs now that Mayalee Shot is done, and only Hikai Shuha-zan and Dus Majarra are easy, the other three level slow as hell).

My pm has put large monsters to sleep with Maylee Shot.

how do the ultimate bullets compare at the 31+ levels?

also, were any of the costs for ultimate reduced (like the healing ultimate handgun?)

Seeing Killer Shot levels half as fast as regular rifle bullets, and Mayalee Shot half as fast as Killer Shot, you're gonna have to wait before you see Lv40 frag bullets >_>

greaaaat. a slow leveling, expensive rifle shot.
